You will always be exactly what you tell yourself you are. So today, make the distinction for yourself. Get crystal clear about what you want. Stop making excuses for what you do not have and start being in gratitude for what you do have. Ask yourself what do I really NEED? That one statement can be life-changing.

Is there something right where you are, right in this moment, that you do not have that is necessary to your survival? I mean are you here right now surviving? If you are reading this, then you are. So be thankful for all you have. How about that chair you are sitting on? Or the coffee you may have had this morning? There is a beautiful bird sitting in the tree by my window singing his heart out. How blessed that I can hear it. The sun is shining, and the sky is spectacular. Is your heart just a bit more full right now?

So now what do you WANT? A healthier body? More money? A better job? A loving relationship? What is your MINDSET about it? Do you believe you will get what you want? Are you willing to work for it? Is your intention so focused on it that you know that nothing will stop you from achieving your dream? Do you have thoughts of abundance or thoughts of lack? Do you see the health and wellness that you want, or are you in a dis-ease mindset?

You must learn to master your thoughts, or your thoughts will master you. Your thoughts create your feelings and your feelings create your actions. The good news is, you can change your thoughts to work in the direction of your dreams.

If negative thoughts come your way, say “thank you for sharing with me, but I choose to think a better thought” and then choose one. Clients always ask me “How often do I have to do that?” The answer? How often do you want to feel empowered? It’s up to you. I do it every day. I re-clarify everyday.

Change is a process; the question is: How bad do you want it? How focused are you willing to be? When it doesn’t work the first time, are you going to say “this doesn’t work, I will never have_________” (fill in the blank) or are you going to say, “I have not found my success formula yet but I know it’s coming.
