Jason’s humble upbringing put an emphasis on at home cooking. Luckily for him and the rest of the Kerstetter family, Jason’s mother is a great cook. Making dinner was a family event and watching his mom thoughtfully prepare each meal is the biggest factor in his lifelong love for food.
Age 18 was the beginning of Jason’s voyage in professional cooking. He worked in numerous commercial kitchens and worked his way from prep cook to Sous Chef before enrolling in classes at Le Cordon Bleu in Pittsburgh. Upon graduating Jason got into corporate dining and eventually took on a role that included travel to some of the best food cities in the country. Being able to sample such a wide variety of great food truly put into perspective the importance of great ingredients.
At Sunny Bridge Jason continues that mantra by using the best quality locally sourced produce and locally pastured meats in his freshly prepared meals. The menu at Sunny Bridge Cafe provides the diner with the opportunity to customize their meal to include the items they prefer. Samples are always free and Jason is always available to talk in great detail about food.
On May 1st Chef Jason joined Kristine Sorenson on KDKA on Pittsburgh Today Live. Watch the video here.

Robin is a certified Life Coach and Weight Loss mentor whose “journey” started in childhood… at Fat Camp. During 30 years of dieting and emotional eating, she realized that the key to the wellness and freedom she was seeking was not just in the food she was eating as much what she was feeding her mind and spirit. This began an intensive study into “wholeness” and mind-body wellness. Robin’s purpose and passion is helping others find the “key” that opens the door to the life and wellness they seek and truly deserve. Robin has been with Sunny Bridge since the store’s inception with a brief hiatus to further her studies. She returned in July, 2013 to work with customers, rebuild the Low Carb-Paleo department and assist Vicky in supplements. Robin is the founder of Abundant Life Coaching and “Robin’s Nest”.
Vicky’s love of herbs began over 30 years ago when she inherited a back yard flower garden. While researching the best way to care for the plants living there, she discovered they have more of a purpose than looking beautiful, they can have beautiful effects on our bodies as well. This led to a life of constant study of herbs and supplements that are available through out the world. She has been helping people incorporate them into their healthy lifestyle ever since.
In 2007 she joined Sunny Bridge as the supplement manager, bringing to you the finest products available to enhance your health. Vicky is also helping to spread the word as the co-host on The Sunny Spot radio show on WKHB 620 AM.
